This is technically old news but I thought you guys might be interested to know the premiere date that CW set for TVD even though we’re still uncertain as to when our beloved Michael will be returning to the show.

Last season, the CW kicked things off in the fall with October premiere dates, and as the network announced Monday, June 24, it will be doing the same with its 2013 shows.

Once again, most of the CW shows will be premiering in October (with “America’s Next Top Model: Guys and Girls” premiering Aug. 2), beginning with “Hart of Dixie” and “Beauty and the Beast” on Oct. 7, and ending with “The Carrie Diaries’” season 2 premiere on Friday, Oct. 25. The “Vampire Diaries” spin-off, “The Originals,” and “Supernatural” (on its new night) won’t be premiering until a week after most of the CW’s series, on Tuesday, Oct. 15. The network still has yet to schedule shows like “Nikita” (which will be airing its shortened final season) and its new series, “The 100″ and “Star-Crossed” for the late fall and midseason.

Check out the CW’s full fall premiere schedule for 2013:

Thursday, Oct. 10

8:00 p.m.: “The Vampire Diaries”

9:00 p.m.: “Reign”

TVD spoilers from TVLine

Last week TVLine sat down with The Vampire Diaries executive producer Julie Plec to talk about what happened in the season 4 finale and what could possibly happen in season 5. Thankfully, she mentioned Michael’s character Tyler and a return for the next season. Read on to find out what she said:

TVLINE | It seemed like Caroline and Tyler are poised for a reunion. Will Michael Trevino be back next season as a regular?
Michael Trevino is still under contract. When he’ll return, we can’t say yet. He is going to have the opportunity to return to Caroline’s life in Mystic Falls. The question is, will he want to take it, given everything he’s been through since he’s been gone, which will be fun for us to learn — like what kind of life he’s been leading on the run.

The CW Orders Early Renewals for Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries and Arrow

Feb 12 • by Queen • Comments OffNews, Television, The Vampire Diaries

The CW has ordered early renewals for some of it’s more popular shows like ‘The Vampire Diaries’ which means that we’ll get to see our favorite supernatural beings for a whole ‘nother season! Anyone as happy as I am about this?! (:

The CW on Monday announced early pick-ups for three of its series: SupernaturalThe Vampire Diaries and Arrow.

Arrow gave The CW its best series premiere since 2009, Vampire Diaries is the network’s highest-rated show in target demos and Supernatural is up 15 percent in total audience versus last season. The dramas will be entering their second, fifth and ninth seasons in fall 2013, respectively.

“We said last year that one of our goals was to establish building blocks to grow on, and now with our new hit Arrow and fan favorite Supernatural on Wednesday night, and the continued success of The Vampire Diaries on Thursday, we’ve been able to do that,” network president Mark Pedowitz said in a statement. “Not only do Arrow, Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries perform well on-air, they’re also extremely successful for us both digitally and socially. I’m thrilled to have all three shows returning to our schedule next season.”

Vampire Diaries Boss on Stefan’s Anger, Jeremy’s Killer Urges and Caroline and Tyler’s Future

Dec 30 • by Queen • Comments OffArticles, News, Spoilers, The Vampire Diaries

Death, break-ups and some killer urges plagued The Vampire Diaries winter finale earlier this month.

After the eventful episode, TVLine spoke with executive producer Julie Plec about the loss of Tyler’s mom, Damon and Elena’s struggles and the future of Caroline and Klaus.

And now we have even more scoop from that chat, so read on to find out how the Christmas outing will affect the Salvatore brothers’ relationship, whether Caroline and Tyler are going to make it through this rough patch and what’s in store for Jeremy, romantically and professionally (he’s a hunter now, you know).

TVLINE | Tyler’s grown a lot this season. Will recent events help him mature further or set him back?
It’s a setback in that his confidence came from this feeling that he had a place and he had people that were looking to him. As his mom said, “You’re a leader of people like your father was.” He was really growing into that, and to feel like they all paid the price for that confidence will definitely set him back a bit. The question is, how will he rebound from that?

TVLINE | Are Caroline and Tyler OK?
Tyler’s going to struggle, and Caroline’s going to struggle in trying to help him. But if there’s one thing those two have proven again and again, it’s that when situations are at their most dire and their most extreme, they find a way to be there for each other. I think we can rest easy that that won’t have changed yet.
